About 200 Miles For Travis.

My dear and lifelong friend Travis committed suicide in January 2019, it was devastating for me, his family, his friends and all who knew him. However I had no idea how far reaching the effects would be and it broke my heart to see the outpouring of emotion in the days, weeks and months after he was gone.

My name is Tim and in October 2020 I will be running the 200 Mile (325 Kilometre) Lavender Federation Trail from Murray Bridge to Clare in South Australia. You can hear all about the preparations on the Runner Trucker Podcast I host with my friend Ryley Smithson. Big thanks must also go out to our sponsor, City Shelving in Adelaide. The company’s owner Andrew is going to be personally assisting with our fundraising and running efforts.

Our two chosen charities are AnglicareSA and Beyond Blue. AnglicareSA provide many charitable services but have been instrumental in helping Travis’ parents deal with the grief and pain from the loss on their son. Beyond Blue have been working to raise awareness and provide assistance to those suffering from depression and anxiety since 2000.
